Guidelines for Pool Opening/Closing Due to Weather
The general guidelines for weather are that it must be 70 degrees to open the pool. If there is thunder, we will wait approximately 25 minutes from the last thunder that we hear before reopening. If there is lightning, we have to wait approximately 45 minutes from the last lightning that we see before we reopen. We can open if there is light rain, but if the radar looks threatening, we generally will not open.
If a member is interested in renting the pool event area for an upcoming event, contact Pyles Pools at 317-288-5317 at least seven (7) days prior to your event.
